I have two Z.O.A. albums on disc that I friend of mine in Japan (who I have lost touch with over the years unfortunately) sent me in the late 80s when I was in high school. Red People in Disorder (the 4th cut) kicks ass. The other album I have is Burmma, which is also excellent. And, yeah, the Frond rocks.

I love everything about this. The choice of song. The choice of instruments. The look. The sound. Together it's just so punk-rock.

Well... trap rap was getting so heavy that this was bound to happen. Even for Semetary this is baffling. Production that is so maximalist and over-distorted that I can't hear anything discernible

My kids have been playing the new Royal Blood album "Typhoons" to the point where I'm starting to get a little tired of it already. It only came out on Friday. They went disco with this one and I'm old enough to have lived through two waves of disco. Not sure I'm up for a third. But still, some of the new songs are pretty good.

I'm a fan of many of the songs posted on this page of this thread.

This used to be my rym account, by the way, until I got released from another hospital at the end of December (spend about 37 or 38 days there) and decided to not continue my adventures using that account (I also probably forgot my password). That hospital was mainly French-speaking, though. We could even consider it "a different experiment"....

I'm discovering Demi Adejuyigbe. He did a great end credits theme song for Green Book in the style of Morrissey.

Hehe, he’s a pretty funny guy, I enjoy his YouTube videos as well. And his movie reviews on Letterboxd are fun to read too.
