Don't be too sad; it's not like I can download anything here! Plus, there's hundreds of people using it at once.

We have a problem with the upload speed here in Saudi Arabia, I can upgrade my download to 100 Mb/s but the upload won't be any faster.

Image

BTW I didn't close the torrent while testing, so it would be faster than that.

It's only half as bad as my internet :( If I lived in the hills, we probably wouldn't even be able to get internet there.

Actually we didn't have it until like 3 or 4 years ago. Before our line was so weak, that very limited number of people were able to have internet (we weren't one of them). And after that it was much slower than now, it doubled (for everyone in Slovenia for free) sometime this year because of some anniversary of our provider.

Yes unfortunately I do. I know that feeling now.

But it is worth it. I now live in a building only occupied by me. No one else has moved it. The silence is great! A small loss for a great gain.

This awful island in Norway apparently has worse internet than some hill in Slovenia. And I'm going to stay her here mostly for the next three months. :(

Weird though that these Norweigan servers give me better result than Swedish ones, still can't find anyone that actually can measure my connection.

I have much faster connection for some time now. A month or 2 with very limited speed (sometimes even as low as 0.2 Mb/s) and few days without internet were totally worth it.

Download speed is pretty much the same as back home, but that upload speed is huge and look at that latency. And this is FREEEEEE. Probably shouldn't download though because it's probably all tracked :(

Jup, my internet is that shitty.
And I live three kilometeres from the central place of a reasoable sized city (about 30k inhabitants). For being one of the wealthiest and economically strongest countries in the world our internet connections are in general piss poor.

Yeah, it is a pain in the ass.
I do all bigger (legal) downloads at work, where we have a fat fibre connection which can of course compete with anything posted here. But that doesn't help me downloading / streaming movies. And it is all the worse coming home every day from the super conncection to the connection which is slow even by pre year 2000 standards.
One of the main things I look forward to when I finally find a nice appartment is a faster internet connection.

Eventually only the BBC and Government sponsored web sites will be allowed. I do not really believe this, but who know where it can end.

It's the conservative government doing this, so I don't know if that's meant to be sarcastic or not.
