Very bottom of the page, on the left, there is a "Who is online" section.
I believe that only indicates who is reading that subforum, not any specific thread. You can click on it and get a more detailed listing but it just says "reading a topic in [subforum]".
I think you're right. But still better than nothing?
If there's a setting to turn on for individual threads, then that would be nice.

I've now made it possible to add small attachments. Don't know what happens when it fills up the available disk space, but we'll see how it goes.

Let me know if the option doesn't show up, I may need to change some permissions.

what should I be seeing (to add an attachment)? So far I don't see anything that looks like it will add one.

In the full reply below the smilies there's the options box where you can disable smilies bbcode etc. Beside options there should now be a second tab that says attachments.

Yes
Then, as it fills up, you would be able to see what attachments would be "ok" to delete.

In theory, yes. I don't really know what things people will attach so I don't know how long it'll take to fill up and how easy it will be to choose what to delete. We'll see.

Would you consider allowing tiny MP3 snippets as well, PA? Otherwise the Guess the song game becomes practically unplayable.

+1
I like to revive this game.

Also, people shouldn't attach images. Hosting them on Imgur or similar is easy, so don't waste disc-space on that.

Can we manually adjust whether links are opened in a new tab or not? Currently I leave the forum every time I click a page, and I don't like that.

Unfortunately it's only possible to adjust that for external links. I want internal links to open in a new tab as well.

Crl+click opens new tab. Shift+click opens new window. This is pretty much standard browser behavior.

If you want it in select posts you have to check the box under options that says " Attach a signature (signatures can be altered via the UCP)"
If you always want it there there's an option in the control panel to make it always show up

Not a problem, but something interesting I noticed - when you're a moderator here, your posts do not show up as edited.

For example, I know Knaldskalle edited the OP in the Silent Challenge last month, but it doesn't show as such. Again, no big deal, but interesting.
