What a depressing reality, Americans could have started a path towards basic rights and decent living standards for all, instead they are dooming themselves and us to 4 more years of Trump and Obama ...

Regardless of which of these two right wing extremists win they will fight to murder Americans at the alter of the Healthcare Industry's profits, mass-murder people in the middle East and Africa and align themselves with murderous regimes and genocidal maniacs across the world. Expect more coups and devastation.

And yet in some countries you have to wear face masks so everyone should go to Walmart and wear masks. What would they do then?

I loathe the vast majority of forms of violence, even political ones. I don't even think you should punch nazis. That being said, I'm really starting to believe now that violence is the only way to actually form some change. I'll just ignore the communist jibber-jabber in this case. How about the American Civil War?

I don't even think a revolution will happen when America reaches its expected 32% unemployment rate due to the pandemic.

I only see two scenarios. America will never change and will go through a DRASTIC collapse, like every superpower does. Or, shit starts to get real with climate change, and first world countries will have to take tens of millions of refugees because their countries will no longer be habitable. They will obviously do it in a very shitty way, and I think a revolution will start at that point. I'm just scared that the revolution might be a fascist one to kick all those refugees out.

There is a chance Trump could go down with the virus as well.

There is still drone bombing in the Middle East. You just don't hear about it because he signed an executive order cancelling a policy that makes reporting drone strike deaths mandatory.

I am happy. If only Bernie would have dropped out earlier in 2016, then Hillary might be president right now and so many people wouldn't have died in America within the past few years and now.

Bernie appeared in 39 rallies for Hillary.

And don't give me that Bernie or Bust bullshit when there's stats like this: https://news.gallup.com/poll/105691/mcc ... ccain.aspx

The Clinton or Bust numbers, and the Obama or Bust numbers were drastically higher in the 2008 election.

There were still PLENTY of deaths under Obama with his imperialist and capitalist agenda.

But no, you fucking liberals only care about aesthetics, and would support someone like a terf like Kamala while saying she helps the LGBTQ community, or support Pete for him being gay when what he actually has done and said brings tremendous damage to the LGBTQ community.

Milano is the perfect example. Literally said to BELIEVE ALL WOMEN (I will show the tweet if I must), and literally started the metoo hashtag on twitter. But oh, someone she likes now got accused? I'ma just remove the metoo part of my twitter bio and call it bullshit.

No matter what you'll blame the left for it.

You fucking liberals make me sick. You're worse than Cipp. You're worse than neo-nazis. At least they have fucking principles and beliefs. Like they want all black people to die or something. Fucking abhorrent believes, but they don't sell themselves out because OMG YAASSS A QUEER POLITICIAN!! Wait.. they're a terf, or they support salvation army, or they say boycotting chik-fil-a is virtue signaling? WHO CARES YASSS SLAYYYY

If you were a Mexican illegal immigrant, with your beliefs you'd be happy if the ICE agent kidnapping your kids was a black woman.

No wonder you're a lawyer...
Thanks for the backhanded compliment 😃

Huh. It's like you don't understand that not all democrats are liberals and not all liberals are democrats.

I'm also not sure why you think that politics is a game where you decide the best policy and then yell insults at anyone that disagrees with you. That's not how any of this works.

This thread and others like it need heavier moderation. That was a bad post but the level of the discussion here is very poor to begin with. I particularly can't understand how one poster has been allowed to post nonsense on this forum for years without seeing a ban. That poster alone is poisoning the well (you all know who). I don't think the ignore button is a good solution.

Yea I was in a bad headspace then. Having to work extra shifts as there is now a staffing crisis, the housing crisis, recovering from psychosis, and then having someone saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. I should have went the calm route and continued with the 2008 election showing how Hillary was hurting Obama's chances by not dropping out early instead.

I did ditch that therapy for emotion regulation too as work got in the way.

I did go too hard and I am sorry cocoa, but I believe it's best if I put you on ignore at least for now.

I don't think cipp should be banned, but I do find it annoying how none of anyone's points are ever addressed.

I treat people here with respect even SG who accuses me of lies and with whom I disagree but still respect his right to those opinions. I tell the truth as I see it. Cannot you see Biden not being the candidate?

In case someone don't know the context, Cippenham is a troll.

He spams the same statements (usually a singular sound byte, i.e. Hilary Clinton will run, Biden will be replaced) on repeat and when challenged/questioned on a topic he does not respond and/or claims he will stop posting about X. If he does respond he dodges the questions deceitfully and tries to inflame discourse further. There are several examples in this thread, some hilarious, some sad.

Being a conservative, liberal or otherwise right-leaning person (nor left-leaning person), or posting controversial views are not at all an issue on this forum.

-

The reason Cippenham has not been banned is because we only ban or warn forum members in cases of abuse or excessive spam (i.e. advertisement, or disruptive repetitive spamming - which he does at times come close to, but not close enough to ever issue a formal warning).

For a long time we were unsure if he was a genuine person posting conspiracy theories (Global Warming is a hoax, Marxists control the world including the major corporations, etc. etc.) or if he was a troll. It has since been made clear beyond any doubt that he is a troll due to his repetitive posts and disappearing acts - the last one being the most hilarious.

Cippenham has been told several times, over many years, that it is the spamming and hit and runs that is the issue.

Also note:

Cippenham has stated many times that he will not discuss politics again. This will not happen.

Cenk Uygur reportedly (leaked emails and sources) tried to suppress unionizing at TYT. A good reminder of 1) class interest 2) people using the progressive label in the US are not particularly far left.

(Note: It is of course in Politico's agenda to push negative press towards left of status quo candidates, and they are on a bit of a roll. Doesn't stop facts from being facts though)

Alaska: Biden :ICM:

55.3 % of the vote and 11 delegates to Biden. Sanders got 44.7 % of the vote and 4 delegates. This contest was held partially after Sanders dropped out of the race.
