Yes, I had to check out for a while. I was trying to ignore politics as much as possible, but things were getting heated here and I kept getting sucked into political debates. Yeah I do recall him not liking that idea, but find it hard to believe that he'd totally quit the forum over something like that which is ultimately quite trivial, really. If that really was the deal-breaker for him, then, damn...he sure is hella passionate about TSPDT, lol.AdamH on Jun 14 2018, 10:41:14 AM wrote:He quit the forum because some people wanted the extended TSPDT list to be official.GruesomeTwosome on Jun 14 2018, 10:22:43 AM wrote:What ever happened to albajos? No idea. That was certainly the last time he posted but maybe there were other reasons. Pity because i think he was a good poster. Lots of people come and go over time on forums and I'm sure they have their own reasons or are sometimes too busy offlineGruesomeTwosome on Jun 14 2018, 10:47:27 AM wrote:Yeah I do recall him not liking that idea, but find it hard to believe that he'd totally quit the forum over something like that which is ultimately quite trivial, really. Maybe it wasn't only the fact to adopt the extended TSPDT, but his departure was certainly caused by the whole discussion around it. There was probably more and this was the last thing he needed to drop out.AdamH on Jun 14 2018, 10:53:38 AM wrote:No idea. It is unfortunate but bound to happen.
Felt so guilty with a political post that I almost got myself banned from this forum to cut off internet time. Even discussed it with someone here in PM's. I did have someone talk me out of it though.

Think it's a pretty great thing that we've kept so many regulars considering the forum has been on the go for almost nine years now. Of those 115 who have posted this year, 48 joined in 2011, 11 in 2012, 14 in 2013, 9 in 2014, 7 in 2015, 8 in 2016, 13 in 2017 and 5 in 2018. The rise in 2017 in mainly due to the IMDb forums closing down and a few joining here instead (a few of whom have thankfully stuck around and been great additions to the forum). Of course, it also takes time to get to 500 posts so we will have others who joined in recent years with <500 posts so far.Pretentious Hipster wrote: ↑April 14th, 2020, 2:14 pm It is unfortunate but bound to happen.
