Is blueboybob still around? Haven't seen anything from him in three weeks and his last post doesn't make me optimistic. :(

He went dark on the main site as well, no? Think he was/is tired to constantly defend the amount of movies he watch and how he watch them.

Can’t say I blame him.

Now I wonder what doubles and triples mean when talking about challenges.

It’s called a double if a movie fits two challenges. And a triple fits all three.

If there is a Fantasy movie made in Central America that’s also on our 1000<400 list, then it’s eligble for all three challenges this month, aka «a triple».

Bbb point was that if he had 100 points in all three challenges one month then it does not mean that he had seen 300 movies.

He'll probably come back tbh. I remember in the past he called us all snobs for not liking Jackass or The Landlord and he still came back.

Hope he comes back soon. Comments like that are not going to help Hipster.

Also, to me it seems like a simple misunderstanding.

It was a misunderstanding. I've already posted about it so don't want to keep saying it but I was not attacking him at all. I thought he was making a joke but actually I just didn't understand what doubles/triples meant.

Well, it's ironic how the last straw was what seems to be a misunderstanding - but it was only an escalation of an underlying, longer affair. We'll have to wait and see if he, and the starting matter, cool off.
