A classic video

My father didn’t have the skill of a professional cameraman. The result? Avant-garde cinema.

Really, kas, what's wrong with my post? I don't see anything trollish about it at all. These things do happen you know. My post just highlights that cats have mood swings just like people. Am I to take it that it's not allowed to post stories about cranky cats here? Really? Come on.

Don't insult my intelligence, Monty. You did it to raise a stink. You constantly post negative shit about cats to piss us off. Anyway it was nice knowing you, I guess I'll see more ignored posts by from now on.

Oh, noooooooooooo. Don't be childish now, kas. Do you really want to end such a beautiful friendship like ours over a trifle like this? I thought you held me in higher esteem than that. Sorry to see you go like that. When you do come to your senses again and realize what folly you've committed, know that I'll always be there for you, patiently awaiting your gentle touch again.

Kas is just cranky because he was forced to pee in his car while on set.

I'm not cranky I just don't like people who don't like animals and make jokes about them or the people who love them.

Certain things are simply not funny.

Yeah, it's not like kas to get his panties in a bunch but I guess having to go in a bottle on a regular basis does make one behave in an overly cranky manner. Here's to him getting out of that sorry situation.

Jeez, kas, come on. I make one post about a cranky cat - the story actually highlighted the power of cats - and get called an animal hater? I love animals like the next one.
Also, stop taking yourself so damn seriously - the world will treat you better for it.

Once you were fun to hang around, now you've unfortunately turned into a caricature of a sourpuss.

Again, you are insulting my intelligence. If we look at your posts on this thread, they are all negative posts. And you're the reason we created this thread in the first place, because you bitched and moaned about every cat related post.

I may have moaned but that was because the topic deserved its own thread - is that wrong?
Also, the one raising a stink is not me, but you with all your grandstanding.

Btw, still awaiting your vote in the urination poll - all the other regulars have cast their vote.

This is why I'm hiding you Monty. You're a dick who won't take anything seriously. If you gave two shits about people, you'd just back off, but instead you double down like the troll you are. I don't take myself seriously, but I don't want to expose myself to negative things about cats, or other animals. And as long as you insist on doing so, I will hide you to avoid ruining my day.

Unfortunately the cat lounge is a saddening place for me, because it reminds me of Dougie, about who I posted once; and he died around three months later, almost one year ago. He was one of the oldest living cats, a superbeest.

I'd hate to be the one ruining your day, kas, so - though I feel you deliberately misread anything I post here - I'll voluntarily give myself a posting ban in this thread from now on as a token of my esteem for you. Happy now? And please lighten up, for heaven's sake, this is just an internet forum.

The whole reason I come on the forum is to "lighten up" from the real world. This is also why I hid so many people this year, I have no time to deal with any of this shit.

Sorry to hear that life's got you down, kas. I never realized. I certainly don't want to contribute to making you feel low so I'll be proactive and cease all my gentle teasing of you starting now. Only happy thoughts from now on in, ok? :)

"In 1999 it was decided by the Blair government that not all hereditary members of the Upper House, or House of Lords, would be allowed to retain their seats automatically. Pending the decision on which aristocrats would, and would not, make the cut, their lordships were asked to submit brief manifestos stating what they could contribute and what measures they favored. Viscount Monckton of Brenchley showed himself equal to the moment by demanding that all cats should be made to wear muzzles when let outside. This was in order to stop “the agonizing torture of mice and small birds."

They're kind of a cool idea in theory, but the arguments against them make sense. The Cat's Protection League follow good evidence, have a staff of cat experts, and always seem to be right about cat issues, if they're against it, then it's a concern.

From the article: "Dominic Shellard, vice chancellor of De Montfort University in Leicester, tweeted that he was "very disturbed" when he visited it, describing an "overpowering smell of cat faeces" and "very sad" cats."

In the states, cat cafes are only adoption based. Actually the one in NYC had to close for a few days cause they ran out of cats. People were adopting them too fast.
