Woods, Bardet, Valverde final 3 with Moscon 4th

Dumoulin crazy good for such a climb

He's coming back to them on the flat!

Predicatable finale. Valverde finally gets his win.

Dum just 4th but gets the rider of the day award.

QuickStep will not be Wolfpack-QuickStep next season; finally the new main sponsor was found and announced. Gaviria and Mas should be secured for the next season. Would have been a strange situation if one of the best teams could not get a title sponsor.

Also a strange situation going on with Sosa; looks like he will be lost to the Sky-train while he was first announced (even by himself) for Trek.

If there was ever a more suitable name for a team. Quickstep was not bad either, but more for a runners team.
But unfortunately it's Deceuninck.

Evenepoel's won 32 races and main classifications according to PCS this year.
All the others number 13 (12 stages+mountain points). Of these, 6 were also on podium.
One young man has even beaten him 3 times: https://www.procyclingstats.com/rider/karel-vacek

Solo: 12 (up to 10 mins lead in the Euro race)
Sprint: 2
ITT: 4
GC: 5
PC: 5
MC: 4
CLEAN SWEEP: 1 5/5

From the few where he was close he lost 4 in a sprint, half of them in a one on one.

The final tally is 73. 11 short of the sensational Columbia 2009's 84.
VIVIANI Elia - 18
ALAPHILIPPE Julian - 12
GAVIRIA Fernando - 9
JAKOBSEN Fabio - 7
HODEG Álvaro José - 5
JUNGELS Bob - 4
SCHACHMANN Maximilian - 3
TERPSTRA Niki - 3
LAMPAERT Yves - 2
MAS Enric - 2
RICHEZE Maximiliano - 2
CAVAGNA Rémi - 1
GILBERT Philippe - 1 =(
MØRKØV Michael - 1
Team - 3

14 individual winners. That's also 2 short of 2009 Columbia.

Gaviria still going to UAE, even with the new sponsor deal QS could not match the oil money from UAE. I guess that is great news for Hodeg and Jakobsen.

Yes, they did not directly compete and MvdP did not have to deal with a high level of competition, but he did get the first win of his road campaign this season. It will be fun to see how these two will do and measure it against each other.
They will be in the same race at Gent-Wevelgem, Ronde van Vlaanderen and Amstel.

After crashing hard in the bunch sprint last wednesday Mathieu van der Poel was smart enough to avoid risk and win solo today in Denain. Together with Van Aert showing himself in the final of San Remo, it was a pretty good weekend for cyclocross.

What races are you actually counting here?

Tomorrow will be interesting; Gent-Wevelgem is the first race where MvdP and WvA are both competing and both in excellent form. Van der Poel had an impressive win in the mini-Roubaix of Denain, however, the competition was not that impressive there. Van Aert has been putting in good finishes, better compared to last year. No Groenewegen, so Van Aert should be the leader and Jumbo will not work for the sprint. Still a big chance for a bunch sprint, those dirt sections don't change much there.

Only lost 3 single-day races they participated in

Overall, one more win than last year btw

Astana is pretty impressive in the stage races. Lopez is in place to win Catalunya this weekend, but still anything can happen with the small gaps.
