I've used a few of those before. I'm by no means an expert, but they seriously come in handy at certain spots.

It's not just the new formulas. It's like she said, it changes the way you handle regular formulas in large expanding datasets. I'm certainly going to update some of my spreadsheets according to this. No need to copy down a formula again if you want to change something. Just change it at the top and the whole spill follows the update.

She's pretty good. I just subscribed to her channel.

But I get what you mean. I always struggle with pivot tables as well.

I bought VR glasses this week, the kind in which you put your smartphone to watch VR movies. I'm using the Youtube-app on my iPhone. I have one issue. After I start the VR glass mode, and I want to use the controls (pause, select a different time, etc...), the only way I found to open those options is tapping my screen. But my phone is inside the VR glasses, so I have to open the VR glasses to tap the screen, but controlling it is done by the movement of my head. It doesn't make sense at all. I've connected my headphone, so I expected the middle button of the (wired) earpods to open up the controls, but that's pause (or next clip with double click). I then expected the controls would open with a certain gesture like facing down or sideways, but nothing worked. I've searched for the problem on the internet, but couldn't find any info about it, but also hardly any complaints.

Anyone?

They make controllers you can connect to the phone via bluetooth.

My previous smart phone came with one of those fancy VR headset cases which I tried a few times, but:

1. VR mode ran the battery on the phone down surprisingly fast
2. The phone had a strong tendency to overheat inside that headset

I hope yours is working better than mine did, but I think the next time I get VR stuff it will be dedicated equipment, and definitely will avoid the oculus even though I like their technology.
My first VR goggles were way back in mid 90's, which were awesome when playing Descent but basically only a few games worked with them.

For me Google Earth and the Alyx Game were my first love at first sight in VR...

The rest of it isn't that good.

Yet to see anything else really interesting.

Ah well, I don't think I'll bother with that. It's not like I'm going to use it a lot. It's just fun for one or two short clips. My kids enjoy it and since all amusementparks, zoos etc... are still closed, it's just a fun way to "get out". It's just weird something big as a Youtube-app hadn't figured out yet to let it work with an earpod button or a movement.

I dabbled in VR a bit on the phone, mostly for "adult" purposes. It's a neat novelty, but not really worth the effort. Like joachimt said, the UX is super clunky on the phone, and it really only works decently with either a bluetooth VR controller or an integrated headset.

The non-porn stuff had potential. I did a couple roller coasters, which were an awesome experience, but under-developed. A skilled filmmaker going hard at that tech could create an amazing and immersive experience, but it's just not there yet, IMHO.

Does this link work for you?
https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmX1njz8g5rZaGUPSQ ... (1967).avi
or some audio
https://ipfs.io/ipfs/Qmbjj43FG3ERJC5oyD ... iJ8KtqxSdA
The video started downloading as soon as I clicked it. Didn't even ask me to confirm. Is that what you wanted to check?

The audio link takes me to a directory that I can access and navigate through. Clicking on an audio file plays it in my browser.

Having an Excel issue. I'm trying to add a feature where I enter a director's name in cell J1 and then underneath it will list all films matching that director in my spreadsheet. This formula works:

=IFERROR(INDEX(Movies!A:A, SMALL(IF($J$1=Movies!AG:AG, ROW(Movies!AG:AG)-ROW($AG$2)+2), ROW(1:1))),"" )

where Movies!A:A is the list of film titles and Movies!AG:AG is the list of directors.

But I need to be able to find partial matches for where there are multiple directors in a cell. I tried using "*"&J1&"*" but it doesn't work. Anyone know what to do here?

Ok I worked it out:

=IFERROR(INDEX(Movies!A:A, SMALL(IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("*"&$J$1&"*",Movies!AG:AG)), ROW(Movies!AG:AG)-ROW($AG$2)+2), ROW(1:1))),"" )

Personally I can't wait for excel wizards to discover the joyful programmer pastime of deciphering confusing names of functions. =PROCESS(FIX(AAA(NEWDATA(CALC2_2(A1:B10))))), here we go!
