Tombstoner - written by a member of the forum, this film is one part western, one part Reefer Madness and will be shot entirely on location in and around Boot Hill. Think of it as High Noon with Tommy Chong instead of Gary Cooper.

jasonXbourne - Still working through the details of this cross-franchise extravaganza. Opens with Jason Bourne ripping off a hockey mask from his face as the sun rises above Crystal Lake. For a moment he thinks he fell asleep in the lake then realizes it's a massive pool of blood and the mangled bodies of the local senior class are piled nearby. Meanwhile, in Lisbon, Jason Voorhees wakes, stumbles into the bathroom and is delighted to see how handsome he suddenly is. He gets dressed and heads for a hardware store. Simultaneously the two make their way - Bourne is headed for Langley, certain they made him this way for a reason, and he's going to make every last one of them pay: in blood! The other Jason is merrily making his way from Lisbon to Singapore dying to see what a trail of destruction he can leave behind, but just when the cops are about to get him he disappears, helped by Bourne's network of nitwits. (note to self: leave the ending open so there can be a string of sequels)

Raze - demolition after demolition - buildings, bridges, whatever - all set to trendy hiphop music

I've been enjoying my path through some highly-rated TV Mini-series, including:

Planet Darth - Exploring the rise of the popular Sith-themed restaurant chain for those Empire loyalists lucky enough to live and work on the Death Star.
Band of Brothels - A heart-breaking docu-series detailing sex trafficking victims at a string of related prostitution houses.
Cosmo - An inside-look at the production of next month's Cosmopolitan magazine.
Das Boos - An historical expose of the reasons why Hitler first hired a speechwriter.

And one terrible one:

Lift - A Youtube series done by this drunk guy from the backwoods of Mississippi who yells loudly about the difference British and American expressions. Named after his favorite topic, elevators.

That guy is a genius filmmaker, btw. I love pretty much everything I've seen of his, apart from Okja which was still interesting.

While we're on the subject of great Korean filmmakers...

Oldtoy - Toy Story sequel that gets quite dark when kids of 2017 only play on Iphone and Android apps and neglect Woody and company.

I'm watching Paradise Now (2005), so I figured I should check out some related viewings:

Paradise? No! - A suicide bomber miscalculated, and is permanently banned from heaven.
Paradise Not - A Saturday Night Live skit with Wayne and Garth discussing various people who are going to hell.
Taradise Now - Tara Reid's failed reality show attempting to revive her career.
Paradise Snow - A marketing film from Aspen, Colorado's tourism bureau.

And an honorary homonym that doesn't quite fit anywhere:

Pair of Dice Now! - A demanding craps player attempts to beat the house.
