I think it's common not to allow edits if you want credit.

also I was able to automate everything except extracting the links from imgur how do I do that? I only used it because postimage isn't loading for me but I think you can scroll through shots on postimage which are labelled with dates I took them...

thinking about doing a few more, would people prefer I exclude movies that are in other quizzes or could those potentially act as "clues" and jog the memory.

I don't know when I'm supposed to give hints (at least after I've posted other quizzes with some overlap) but Ithink it's ok to confirm 23 depicts WC Fields and his shoes.

I do like the way you think on 10 and 5.

china 2
france 5
greece 2
hong kong 4
hungary 1
india 1
italy 2
japan 4
poland 1
portugal 1
skorea 1
uk 1

luc moullet successfully identified but incorrect film. answer is almost unfairly obscure tho.

I'm glad I got the director right at least. :)
I have seen 5 of his movies, but this shot is not from one of the other 4, so I guess I haven't seen it.

some of these are included specifically because I know that although they are obscure, at least one person on this forum has seen it. unfortunately I do not know if they regularly participate in screenshot quizzes...

some of these I have no clue if people have seen.

I'll put together one that maximizes overlap and then use the ones left with the most checks next. :)

Well, I managed to get a film with 3809 checks and one with 48, so. Somewhere in that range. maybe.
