connordenney you can watch The Best Years of Our Lives.

Woman in the Dunes was technically impressive and parts of it were riveting, but it didn’t land quite so hard for me as it does for others. I think when stories are so obviously allegories they just don’t work for me in film as much as in other mediums. I think this would work a lot better as a novel.
