Summary:
Short film about "murmurations": the mysterious flights of the Common Starling. It is still unknown how the thousands of birds are able to fly in such dense swarms without colliding. Every night the starlings gather at dusk to perform their stunning air show.

I saw this for DTC last year. Absolutely stunning. Nature is a wondrous thing. There's really not much to the film, but I still really liked it.

There's something fascinating and very photogenic about the "dance" these birds perform. I really could probably watch it for a lot longer than the 7 minutes or so that this lasted.

Who nominated this last year for DtC? 72? How'd it do? I'm not sure if I voted on it last year, or became aware shortly after the process, but, if it was nominated again this year, I'd definitely give it a 6!

I love B/W films and I'm an avid birdwatcher so, needless to say, I gave it a 6 last year for DtC.
