So, given that today was a public holiday (Easter Monday), I decided to put myself up to the challenge and see how much I could squeeze in. I managed to get through eight films by midnight - but only by deliberately sticking to shorter stuff.

091min Man of Flowers (1983)
091min 100 Bloody Acres (2012)
096min Princess Cyd (2017)
062min Before I Hang (1940)
116min Berlin Syndrome (2017)
086min Small Roads (2011)
062min Voodoo Man (1944)
057min Saps at Sea (1940)

661 minutes - or just over 11 hours

I did leave the house once for around half an hour. I also spent quite a bit of time on this forum, including spending time to write up about each film. I guess this does show me that nine films in one day could be possible were I to leave the forum alone for a day. I don't know. Maybe a goal for this year's Horror Challenge, but at the moment I'm feeling pretty spacey and I'm looking forward to taking things at a more even pace tomorrow.

So I broke my record today. Managed to squeeze in 9 films, though again, largely by relying on the shorter stuff.

:run:

094m - Gas (1981)
105m - Fun (1994)
090m - Bite (2015)
086m - Debug (2014)
065m - Stereo (1969)
088m - Shivers (1975)
103m - Scanners (1981)
091m - Oddballs (1984)
049m - Uranium (1990)

771 minutes total / 12.85 hours

And yeah, as per last time I'm feeling a little spacey. It's okay, I have stuff to do tomorrow, so I'll definitely be getting a break.

And to think - there are some forum users out there who watch this many films (or more) every single day. (D:)

Had to look it up, as far i could see my record is 5 movies in one day.
January 27th 2019:
- Lawrence Of Arabia 3u48
- Mr.Smith Goes To Washington 2u09
- Metropolis 2u33
- M 1u57
- Princess Mononoke 2u14

A total of 12u41min or 761min
Must have been a cold and dark winter day back then. Those are the best movie days :)

With Lawrence of Arabia in the mix, you would be hard pressed to watch 10 more feature films in a day regardless.
