Our second 1000<400 of the month in FotW and just like Flicka och hyacinter (1950), this film was previously on 500<400 but fell off this year in the most recent update.

Great film. 8.0/10 from me.

Saw this early last year and was pleasantly surprised. Not what I had expected based on the plot summary. It also won a bunch of the Canadian Oscars (Etrogs at the time) so that spurred me to watch it. Plummer is deliciously evil in this film and a delight to see, and Gould did well to get into that timid character.

I was underwhelmed. I feel the same way about this as I do about Sleuth. It's a decent enough time-waster, but I don't really understand the accolades.
