I have to thank MoviePass for getting me to the theater so much in 2018. I never would have seen this many movies theatrically if it weren't for the service. Yes, it sucks now unless you are lucky enough to have an eticketing theater near you, but for those few months it was a glorious experience. All told I saw 54 different movies in 2018, plus the oscar-nominated short live-action and animated films.

The list:

I saw three films at the cinema in 2018:

The Shape of Water (2017)
Ready Player One (2018)
Suspiria (2018)

None of them were worth paying for and I wish I could've got my money back for Shitspiria.

In 2018, I saw...

Star Wars: The Last Jedi
The Shape of Water (the worst Best Picture I've seen)
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri
Phantom Thread
A Fantastic Woman
Isle of Dogs
Memories of Underdevelopment (free!)
Won't You Be My Neighbor? (also free)
Hereditary (ugh, not my choice)
Sorry to Bother You
Mandy
Best F(r)iends Volume 1
Take It Out in Trade (well, I guess we all saw this one)
The House That Jack Built

I think that's all of them. Dang, that was a longer list than I guessed.

Utøya 22. juli (2018) - 7/10
Ága (2018) - 7/10

I'm at 43 cinema visits for this year already. 29 at the IFFR and the rest at regular screenings.

1. If Beale Street Could Talk

Might go see Fighting with My Family tomorrow as my first official 2019 film, it's going to be utter shit but I would watch anything with Florence Pugh in it.

Actually there are some very favourable imdb user reviews so might not be that bad:
Got a chance to see this film at an early screening and I have to say it is one of the best funniest, heartwarming movie of 2019.
