1. Padurea spânzuratilor
2. Megáll az idö
3. Splash Splash Love
4. 25 Watts

Megáll az idö: I feel like I've seen all of this before with better acting, direction, writing, everything. But on its own terms it's a perfectly decent movie.
Splash Splash Love: Not very good, at times straight up bad, but it was at least engaging.
25 Watts: I could not care about anyone or anything in the film. A real disappointment since I very much liked Whisky from the same directors

'Splash Splash Love' is making a late charge, notwithstanding sebby's harsh 1/10!
That's all, folks!

:o I hope this doesn't discourage you from watching more WC-matches.

First #1-vote for SSL.

Deadline over. Final result:

Image Padurea spânzuratilor: 1.905 (88-38)
Image Megáll az idö: 2.143 (78-48)
Image 25 Watts: 2.381 (68-58)
Image Splash Splash Love: 3.571 (18-108)

A European victory this match. Romania and Hungary proceed to round 2. Congratulations to clemmetarey and tarr. Also thanks to mjf314 and toro913 for playing and to the 42 people who voted this round.

Winners so far:
1A1: Croatia (Ne okreci se sine, Mochard)
1A2: Burkina Faso (Buud Yam, hurluberlu )
1B1: China (Mang jing, hurluberlu)
1B2: Spain (Arrebato, beavis)
1C1: Romania (Padurea spânzuratilor, clemmetarey)
1C2: Hungary (Megáll az idö, tarr)

40 people voted in all three matches so far. That's quite a lot considering a participation of 47, 43 and 42 per match. Most voters seem to play the whole game completely.

41 people took on a challenge of watching SSL just to be able to vote, that's impressive. I would have bet on less than 30.
By the way, it has 41 checks. I guess a few people just won't check a series even if it's basically a movie?

I dunno. Until a couple months ago, there was only 2 checks (mjf and one other person). There's also a few people playing along that I don't think use icm.

I think these were almost exactly your same words after I posted my rankings for the previous round. :teehee:

I'll keep pace, as I'm sure at some point something will click with me. I have a feeling 1D will be much more pleasant to my palette; 3 of the 4 films were already in my watchlist before the cup started.

If you ask me, 1D is a much, much better round.
