This is true for every film that he didn't rate 10/10 with one exception (I'm guessing that one film's IMDb rating changed and he hasn't updated his list yet).

iCM Forum's Highest Rated Movies
It's interesting to note that in the Top 50 list of this week, 2 movies are on no list at all, and have less than 400 checks.
#15 Invisible Waves, by Pen-Ek Ratanaruang - 5 voters

#29 46-okunen no koi, by Takashi Miike - 7 voters

Maybe it would be worth it to watch these movies and either vote for them in the next 500<400 list (or downvote them from such a high ranking if only a minority of users actually like them).

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

What I remember about Invisible Waves is its influences from The Shining. It was okay.
Anyway, I've been thinking about a single list that has features, shorts, documentaries, and maybe tv movies (there'd be only seven). And maybe I could auto-post the results of that e.g. next month. Thoughts?

I'll happily take any lists
Could be interesting to see how shorts and docs are ranked against features.

If I counted correctly there's 144 documentaries which is quite a lot. Shorts: 34. TV movies: 7.

Only 809 ratings, out of 2100+ checks here... seems daunting to try and figure out which films I've checked but haven't rated.

Sorting that out is not so hard. Just some comparing formula in Excel. The hardest part is rating all those missing titles on IMDB.Tasselfoot on Oct 28 2014, 08:41:22 PM wrote:My list: http://www.imdb.com/user/ur49416243/ratings

I can't access our highest rated movies page... It seems your account was suspended, themagician.
Does the issue come from my laptop, or is it real ?

New URL is: http://themagician.host56.com/highestrated/latest/. Screenshots aren't working yet.
I think it was here that themagician posted an amazing script that let us click the name of someone on IMDb and then we would see their page in themagician website. It doesn't work anymore, I guess because the other website is down.

Updated. Not much has changed surprisingly. New #1 feature film though.

That new #1 doesn't look like the typical forum mafia film though.

Mighty, can you update the ICM-list? It looks like we're the new IMDB top 250 by overrating new movies (Inside Out is on #1).

I migrated over to a new imdb account a while back. Please use

instead of

Why would one change his IMDb account? Just curious.
Yeah, I was about to ask the same. How does one "migrate" an account anyway and why? Surely sebby didn't start rating all films from scratch? You can just change your username in the preferences.. indeed curious.Torgo on Aug 12 2015, 12:43:24 PM wrote:Why would one change his IMDb account? Just curious.
