The following eligible titles are well-known (over 8,000 votes) and reasonably well-liked (average rating of 7.0 or higher) by IMDb users, but they didn't make a big impression here:

It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (over 16,000 votes, 2 ballots, 13 points)

I should note that El Dorado is now listed as a 1966 film by IMDb, but it was listed as a 1967 film for most of the voting period (and thus received no votes), and I’m a bit skeptical of the idea that it was first released in Japan in December 1966, six months before its U.S. release. The next time we poll 1967, I recommend that El Dorado be eligible for that poll, if indeed IMDb doesn’t move it back to 1967 by then.

The next poll will be for 1944, and the one after that will be for 1980.

Thanks for counting my very late ballot, gromit! I was feeling rubbish all weekend and put off posting on a couple of occasions. I hope I didn't throw too much of a spanner into the works...

Nice to see that my votes aided 'Ukamau' and 'Meandre'! Two great films there. And a couple of the shorts as well, from Conner and Whitney. I should have perhaps found a space in my list for a Baillie, in light of his recent death. I found it really hard to cut my list down to a mere twenty! I prevaricated and agonised over quite a few exclusions.

It was a pretty great year for short films.

Damn, no Spanish films! I knew that SOUND OF HORROR, THE BOUNTY HUNTER or MISS MUERTE did not have a chance but I expected at least Saura's THE HUNT.

Some nice surprises here, like Carriage to Vienna getting into the top 10, Woman of the Lake making the top 25 and Meandre managing to get solid exposure. There are films I never got the love for of course, like La prise de pouvoir par Louis XIV, but overall this is a display of just how strong the 60s were.

From these I definitely want to see O Favos and Faraon(though I'm not a big fan of Kawalerowicz, which is why I'm yet to get around to it).

I had a weird dream last night. I was recruited into some medical test. I was hooked onto IV. I was told that I would be there for awhile, so I can pick a film to watch while waiting. For some reason, I picked Andrey Rublev. I don't know why.

Anyway, very interesting list. The only new film I watched for the poll was The War Game. I highly recommended for those who didn't see it. You can find it in Archive.org. Voyna i mir ranked a bit low, I hope it will do better in the future 1966 poll.

I'm sad Paddle to the Sea didn't make it to the main list
But good top 10 overall, only 4 (Rublev, Blowup, Seconds, Carriage to Vienna) I voted for but I have no real dislike which is already a victory in itself
