In this thread you get to "brag" about being the first checker for a film here @ iCM. Only films checked starting from today are eligible for inclusion here.
Ok, let's get the ball rolling.
Today I became the first checker of Tomu Uchida's
Souls in the Moonlight Part 3.

I guess I forgot to say that the count starts from now. All previous first checks won't be eligible for mention in this thread.

Films with 0 checks on ICM is a bit too mainstream trash. Personally I only watch film that are not on ICM.

Do they have to be on an official list? If not, all the XXX parody movies. Yeah I watched them. Awful, awful things.

No, oc course they don't need to be on an official list. The thing is that the count starts from your checking today...

I guess I have to start hunting for more obscure anime movies and OVAs to watch...
I checked
Mirai Nikki yesterday and I was the first check, but I watched it a long time ago (it wasn't on IMDb at the time I watched it).

Just realized that I'm not even the first person to check Rocco: Animal Trainer 3 :\ maybe I should suffer through some more films from
this list to get some solo checks.

There's only 2 without checks. Irresistible (1983) and Body and Soul (1994). Better get on it quick before someone grabs those first checks.

Apparently
Hozat has seen every film on the list except for those 2. I guess he must have looked for those films but couldn't find them.

Just went through the unofficial checks in my backlog: four titles currently without a check.
Also got about 20 titles in my archive, that I've watched, but aren't on IMDB yet. Maybe I'll add them so I can brag about it here.

So while you're chattering
I just gained another first check , this time a splendid samurai epic by Daisuke Ito called
Tokugawa Ieyasu (1965) .

There are many more if you want, Lawless Land is a 1937 Western, I added a Youtube link if you want to be the first.
But how hard is it to be the first check for official list films, that is a bit harder probably.

There are two films on BBC 2 next weekend, both with zero checks at the moment:.
Curtain Call 1952 and Footlight Fever 1941, not even on ICM so importing it, I may watch one or both of those. But I may not be the first check!

Is this only for feature films or also for shorts?
Generally if I'm the first check it's either a short or a Keanu Reeves movie
(and I'm all out of those).

How is that possible for Keanu's films? He's not an obscure actor.

Well, we're mostly talking TV movies from very early in his career here, before he was well known.

I noticed a movie with Brad Pitt in my backlog, which has only 1 check. Everything is possible...

I know it starts from NOW, but it's actually easy to see how many movies you've checked which still have no other checks here:
http://www.icheckmovies.com/movies/chec ... checks&asc
54 for me.
edit: Go to the last page with only 1 check, count the 1 check entries there and do the maths with the numbers at the bottom

That only counts where you're the only check. I doesn't count titles where you're the first check, but other users have checked it later.
But since we're bragging: 451 one-checks for me.
It includes a lot of episodes to be honest.

I just imported 30 episodes from Dutch TV-series. So I've got 30 first checks today (although I watched them years ago).

solo check! Piece of shit film though. Just saw it cause of the poster
I do have a film on my favorite films list with only 3 checks and 13 imdb votes which is cool I guess.

I have seen and added to ICM In Search of Offa 1979 a documentary by Michael Wood, and so am the first check for that . I have created a new English and British history thread as well.

I just filled the add new title form on IMDB with the info of "A suicide" by Richard Klemann. Why can't they make things easier at IMDB?
