Thanks, I'll ask if I get stuck again. It took me like a week to defeat one boss -the one at Greenpath with the whip-, meanwhile I was trying to improve the knight looking for additional strength through exploration that would come handy when fighting. Then I beat it and achievement pops out, I go on to Steam page and see 59 percent of players have this achievement. I'm like whoa, I could really be a worse than average player since it took me a long time while majority who purchased the game took the time to fire it up and get to the point rather handily which I did arduously.outdoorcats wrote: ↑March 10th, 2021, 11:11 pm Yup! I mean, it only says 59% of players beat her (Hornet, right?) not how long it took. That reminds me of reading that apparently over 50% of people who purchased Blooborne apparently never beat the second boss (Father Gascoigne), which makes me feel a lot better about struggling with him.tirefeet wrote: ↑March 11th, 2021, 6:29 amThanks, I'll ask if I get stuck again. I can't remember any quotes from Blood and Wine to quote back at you. But if I could I'd quote something by Regis. I love Regis.funkybusiness wrote: ↑March 11th, 2021, 9:06 am @outdoorcats,

A lie ain't a 'side of the story.' It's just a lie.
Yeah, valid point. I went with the assumption that the average time spent playing the game would be less than ten hours per player while it took me more than ten hours to reach that point.

The Last of Us Part II is goddamn amazing.
I don't know what else to say.
Guess I missed the debates/discussion by a year or so...for better or worse. I just found it to be both a masterful concept, executed masterfully (both artistically and technically).
I don't know what else to say.

Spoiler
Stunned in particular by how much I came to care for Abby as a character. When playing as her, I remembered how The Last of Us would have some bandits cry out in anguish when they found one of their dead comrades you killed. Or you'd find notes written by them that humanized some of them. Sure, they were effective at reminding you of the cost of bloodshed, but the difference between that and actually controlling the antagonist is akin to the difference between pity and empathy.

I got my copy of Densha de Go! Hashiro Yamanotesen for switch delivered yesterday and went through the tutorial a couple of times. I suck at driving trains. :-(
It sure looks way better than the old Densha de Go! game from 25 years ago though.
The tutorial goes from Shibuya station to Ebisu and has these sections where you are supposed to brake to the correct speed, turn off your headlights so as not to blind the driver of the oncoming train, and stop the train within 5m of the target, all while covering the distance as closely as possible to the scheduled time. My pathetic attempts at this are hilarious when the show the 3rd person view of the train pulling into the station, and stopping 2m+ away from the automatic gates so that nobody could actually leave or enter the train. But somehow still it is a passing grade...

I thought maybe that was the A-Train: All Aboard game I saw on the e-shop recently but apparently, according to google, there are many train games on the switch.
speaking of japan-exclusives, the new Crayon Shin-Chan game (オラと博士の夏休み) coming out this summer looks dope. I have no idea how to buy games off the japanese e-shop but I would definitely play that one.

Bought Beholder 2 on special a few days ago and it's pretty fun. I never finished Beholder and I liked it, but I'm liking the second one a lot more. I also bought Urban Flow on the Switch as my bf and I were looking for a new co-op game to play together. It's decent fun. Some levels are frustrating and I always seem to get the harder part in levels (as player 1, I guess), but we've gotten 3 stars on every level so far (up to level 40-something).

It's gonna take about 8-9 months to do. 6/30 reviews will be short, but I've done the scripts for 3 games and so far it's coming down to 42 minutes + skits... this is gonna be a long video lol

Just finished the main campaign for Unravel Two, now trying to complete the bonus stages. It's very cute, like Ori and the blind forest.
Also finished this year the first Unravel , GTA V, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, Terminator: Resistance, Battlefield 3, Need for Speed: The Run, Little Nightmares II, Life is Strange 2 and Alan Wake.
I'm pushing my potato computer to its limits but it's time for me to buy a new PC if I want to play more recent games.

The 2nd most sold steam game of this week now. The screenshots are hilarious and nsfw. Described as "SUBVERSE contains fully 3D-animated, explicit sex scenes hand-crafted by a team of degenerate neckbeards. Please be warned that a standing crew of gorgeous women are ready to bring your fetishes to life, and that all scenes are accompanied by pleasure-filled lewd moans performed by highly talented voice actresses."

Subnautica is free to download for PS4 right now, along with The Witness, Abzu and Enter the Gungeon. I'm having a blast playing Subnautica.

You didn't miss anything. These are the same people who hated The Last Jedi, Captain Marvel (or Brie Larson) and Game of Thrones season 8 and youtubers/websites need their clicks. I also played the game much later after its release and loved it, one of the best on PS4 (with no spoilers

Anyone enjoying the Disco Communism game? Can only see Lauren mention it once. They released a voiced version, I heard.
Only thing I was playing is removing all my game checks on ICM.

Thank you so much.
Hard to say because it all depends on the length of the game.
Firstly I skim through the footage looking for "highlights", noting where they are and then editing them into separate clips. That usually takes double the length of the game. The combination of the script, filming, and audio recordings takes maybe 2-3 hours. Editing the video itself is usually 1 hour per 3 minutes of footage. Doesn't take long because of creating highlight clips.
The green screen here was terrible cause I don't have the lighting mastered yet. Pretty much everyone said that lighting is by far the hardest part of filming.

Whatever looks good tbh lol. I'm gonna try branching out soon, meaning that I will a video based on an entire game series, and make a feature length video of me re-enacting certain plots of the games but will make them relevant to the review.
I do go through a lot of windows 3.X and MS-DOS stuff because of these packages though:
