Autocorrect got me one day in a chat with one of my friends when we were discussing how Tom Hooper's inoffensive historical junk beat The Social Network in the 2011 Oscars. We laughed about the typo and it became an inside joke.

Yes, except I misspelled it because my brain is fried. Scituate...
I don't understand that, would you mind explaining it? Apparently, it's not too clever, nor is it it all that rare to use one's actual name.

Lucky coincidence, I like quoting old comments!

Ok, so it's a town in Rhode Island. I'll add it to my list of places to visit in the USA.

I'm a theatre composer and I lifted my name from the lyrics of a tune from an obscure musical called, "The Golden Apple."

That figures, some obscure noir with a 4.6 score that nobody ever heard of.

Spoiler
I learned the source of Walter's name when I saw the real Double Indemnity in December. Until then, I assumed it was his real name.

That's the problem with me and having seen so many of the more important classics about 10-15 years ago - I don't remember a single thing about them and have to rewatch everything one day. Then I can continue with digging deeper, then repeat the classics. etc.Spoiler

It's such a cool feeling to finally encounter the (real) source of a reference you know for years.
