Fantastic edition of the Strade Bianchi which is rapidly becoming one of the best one-day races on the calendar. Only 42 riders managed to finish the race.
Bardiani, Movistar and Sunweb had nobody finishing the race today.

Annemiek van Vleuten destroys the competition again. She still hasn't lost a single race this year.

Groenewegen knows exactly what happens if you crash at 80 km/h and he pushed Jakobsen anyway. Groenewegen should not be allowed anywhere near a bike for the rest of his life. Hopefully Jakobsen and the photographer can somehow survive this.

Yeah, season's over most likely. Anyone else have the feeling there have been many more crashes than usual? Maybe it's just a false impression because of the quick succession of races, but with both Jakobsen's and Evenepoel's horrifying crashes, and also D. Martin, Buchmann, Kruijswijk, Schachmann and many more all falling out (all in just the last 10 days!), I've already seen my share of crashes this season.

Edit: forgot to mention Leemreize, who almost lost his finger in Burgos. Yuck!
