3eyes' topic reminded me of this game we used to play on IMDb.

The rules are simple and self-explanatory. Pick whichever film you want and change one letter in its title to come up with a totally different film. You can:


1. Exchange one letter for another. Examples:

The Green Milk (The Green Mile) - citizens of a small US town start turning into weird creatures after drinking radioactive milk. Directed by David Cronenberg.

The Lizard of Oz (The Wizard of Oz) - a giant lizard terrorizes citizens of a small town called Oz.


2. Add a letter. Examples:

Fright Club (Fight Club) - an insomniac decides to spend his nights by forming a team of people who prank unsuspecting civilians.

JAFK (JFK) - a millennial, called Jay (J) realizes how addicted he is to technology and decides to spend a year Away From Keyboard.


3. Remove a letter. Examples:

It's a Wonderful Lie (It's a Wonderful Life) - ambitious young politician does what every politician does; lies all the time, but this one is particularly good at it.

Paytime (Playtime) - Mr. Hulot starts working as a loan shark, but he can't seem to find his debtors.

Having never watched it and only coming across it occasionally, I used to think it really was Downtown Abbey. I got quite surprised when I realized that second w isn't there.

Anyway, great stuff...keep em coming.

The Mild Bunch - a group of friends in the wild west keep getting mistaken for a notorious gang in this action comedy. They keep trying to reason and escape from sheriff and bounty hunters.

La La Lad - I'm not sure what this is about, but I find the title funny.

The sad thing is how many people actually thought it was spelled Rouge One.

Reservoir Bogs - A documentary about the scotch industry over-harvesting peat.
Bill Bill - A stiffed and miffed waitress tracks down a man named William who walked out on a tab.
Jackie Grown - A coming of age tale about a young woman taking on increasing responsibilities in her family's drug cartel.
The Hatful Eight - A day in the life of 8 men who run a haberdashery.
Pump Fiction - A documentary about the rampant use of steroids in bodybuilding.
