Number of lists is actually easier to process. The only problem in this case is that monty is on the dark side so I can't use his check history. Anyway I got about 20 candidates from allisoncm's list alone. I could check them on by one but I think I won't. I'm too lazy these days (that's why I've had to travel back in time to write the script when I wasn't a few weeks ago).

Well, monty's last film unlawfully had more than 50 checks, so...

I can not reveal this much, I'll just say that it is not a Brazilian film... Yes, of course it's Asian. Japanese, obviously. And the actress we see here should be familiar to many cinephiles who are into Japanese films from that era. The actor who looks like the 'Shura' (1971) dude but he isn't probably too (he's the protagonist of this film) but to me personally at least the actress is better known.

So, out of curiosity, what brought you to this obscurity?

Next one shouldn't be too hard, at least not within the limits of this game (it has "a lot" more checks than the previous one).

The director is European, and pretty well known in art house circles.

Many many years ago, before I discovered classic movies etc... I thought Brad Pitt was by far the best actor in the world. So I set myself the goal to watch every movie he ever played in. That was actually the first list I ever worked on. This movie was very hard to get by, one of the last ones I found. In the meantime I had started working on more important lists, so the movie ended up in my huge backlog just waiting to be watched when its turn would come up. This week it finally got its turn.

It's a typical TV movie. Some 19 year old boys mess around with a the Amish. When they throw some rocks at a family in a coach, a baby gets hit and dies. One of the local lawyers picks side of the Amish and tries to bring justice. The village just wants to put it aside as if nothing terrible has happened, so the lawyers gets all kind of trash. Well, you get the story. Mediocre stuff.

Still think Brad Pitt is a great actor, btw.

Back to this one; the woman on the horse is more known for her singing than her acting. Especially on an album with connections to fruit and art.
